General comments
Gentamicine: bij obesitas (=BMI>30 kg/m2): om toxiciteit (m.n. nefro- en neurotoxiciteit) bij obese patiënten te voorkomen, doseer op basis van het “adjusted body weight”.
Bij gebruik van gentamicine moeten spiegelbepalingen worden verricht.
Therapie aanpassen op geleide van kweken.
Duur van de behandeling na perforatie tractus digestivus is 2 tot 6 weken, afhankelijk van mate van source control, uitgebreidheid perforatie/lekkage, eventuele abcesvorming en drainage mogelijkheden.
