Behandeling met gentamicine dient gestopt te worden bij tekenen van toxiciteit
Indien gentamicine vaker dan één keer wordt toegediend:
Bij gebruik van gentamicine moeten spiegelbepalingen worden verricht.
Gentamicine: bij obesitas (=BMI>30 kg/m2): om toxiciteit (m.n. nefro- en neurotoxiciteit) bij obese patiënten te voorkomen, doseer op basis van het “adjusted body weight”
