Overleg met MMB, infectioloog of endocarditis team

General comments

Voorwaarden 2 weken schema:

  • S. aureus methicilline gevoelig
  • Snelle klinische verbetering op antibiotische therapie (< 96uur)
  • Geen metastatische foci buiten de longen
  • Geen empyeem van pulmonale septische embolieën
  • Vegetatie grootte van <20mm
  • Geen cardiale abcessen
  • Geen ernstige immunosupressie (CD4 cellen <200 cellen/ml)
  • Geen gelijktijdige links zijdige endocarditis
  • Geen cardiaal prothese materiaal
